Dear Residents,

Raanana’s water and sewage corporation, Raanana Water Ltd. is currently beginning its operation.  The corporation, which was established based on the decision of the State of Israel and pursuant to the Water and Sewage Corporations Law, is fully owned by the Raanana Municipality and is responsible for the supply of all the water and sewage services in the city of Raanana.

The Raanana Water Corporation undertakes to continue to provide the city’s residents with the best service, as they have received up until now.  The corporation will employ all the municipal water, sewage and water consumption department employees.  This experienced team will continue to work on behalf of the residents.

Water and sewage bills will be sent to the residents in separate bills and not together with their city taxes (arnona).  However, in order to make it easier for the residents, the municipal collection department will continue to handle the water and sewage payments, as they did in the past, without the need for any changes in standing orders with the bank.

The next water bill, for water usage until the month of August 2009, will be sent at the beginning of October 2009.  The bill for water consumed in September-October 2009, will be sent at the end of November 2009 and will be the first bill sent by the Raanana Water Corporation.

The Municipal Moked 107 will continue to handle any inquiries and questions regarding water and sewage in the future, as well as reports of any problems, which will be handled by Raanana Water Corporation.
